Animator’s Dream dot com.
We found this on the net: A young man saving to Attend Max The Mutt Animation School, The year was 1989 and in a land far beyond the rising sun, a young animator was born. He did not know it yet, but he was destined to make kids laugh themselves silly

You can call me Lucky, everyone else does! It started from a nickname in high school and now it’s in my passport
I was born in the small town of Varna in Bulgaria. However I moved out to New Zealand at 14. In between the age of 1 and 14 I soaked up so many Cartoon Network cartoons that I could tell you every cartoon’s plot, dialogue, voice acting , animator and as soon as a new toon comes out I’d be like a frustrated grandpa going “Well in MY days cartoons didn’t have their mouth movements just going up and down!”
Although my parents and friends tried to encourage me to leave the apartment, I spent all of my childhood glued to the tv and if I miss out on one day I’d be scared that 10 new episodes of Hong Kong Phooey! I was a junky for toons, and one day I took one step further…
At the age of 12 I grabbed ahold of Flash 4, a software , which can create crude, yet entertaining to a 12 year old animations! I was excited, I got hooked! 2 years later I moved to New Zealand thanks to my parents, which knew that if I stayed in Europe I’d end up a plumber … and I probably would have as my relatives wanted me to continue the family’s “circle of life” as Simba calls it haha. Well from there on in I spent the next 4 years working on the software and just digging it! I don’t have talent, I never did, BUT I have motivation and that drove me to keep pursuing bigger and greater things! When I was 15 I picked up Justin’s cartoonsmart.com tutorials, which really boosted my skills and motivation 200%, and I felt there was nothing, which could hold me back! At the age of 16 I had built up a portfolio, which when I turned 17 I pitched at an animation studio in Auckland and I got hired! I spend the next 6 months working in the animation industry! It was fantastic! I met so many amazing people, did so many jobs which were later published as ads, banners or small cartoons! Before turning 18 I applied for a scholarship at a graphic design college and I actually got it! Woah! It was unbelievable, however my goals kept going more and more upwards.
While studying I thought hey… where to now? If I finish here then go to an animation school I’ll end up back at the same studio! It’s not enough! I want the world to see my animations, I want the world to smile and laugh at my cartoons! In February 2007 I did heavy research on where I could go so that I end up working for Cartoon Network or Pixar, and I found the best and cheapest school possible! Max the Mutt animation school in Toronto Canada. Most schools cost $50,000 a year, but this one ends up around $30,000 for 3 years! So here are my calculations as to how much it would cost me $10,000 per year for 3 years on a Classical Animation course $2,000 on Airplane Prices $5,000 for Paying rent for a couple of months, so I can settle down and find a job in Canada $5,000 For any additional e.g. Passport costs and paypal taxes Total: $40,000
Now according to my calculations It’s going to take me around two and a half years to save that much money by myself , as while I do have a portfolio I do not have any New Zealand qualifications which is what you need to have good pay around here. BUT when there’s a will there’s a way! And I WILL find a way, I will do WHATEVER I can, I will do EVERYTHING that I can to get the money! I WILL reach my dream and nothing will stop me! This is what this site is about! Here I’ll be posting how much money I have saved up and additionally I ask anyone that’s reading this to help me out even if it’s with just ONE dollar!
One dollar to you means nothing , but to me it means everything, I’ve had about 50,000 visitors so if most of my visitors donated 1 dollar each, I’d reach my goal!
So please if you have a heart, donate just 1 buck! I’ll be posting journals, blogs, pictures and everything that I can to show you guys I’m doing something about it too! Also when you donate ANY sum you’ll be put in my database of donators and get an animated character thanking you
So Thank you in advance

Lucky is now a student at Max the Mutt! I’ll make sure he knows about your comment. Do we know who you are? Have you filled out a “request for information” form? Are you applying?
