Comic Book Boot Camp - Part 1 with Ty Templeton starts October 2, 2008 (Thursday evenings)

Students will work with concepts of layout and design, thinking three dimensionally, inking, cover design, etc.

Ty Templeton has had a long and successful career drawing and writing for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Mad Magazine and the National Lampoon (among many others), working on such characters as Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Avengers, The Simpsons, Ren and Stimpy, The Justice League, Bugs Bunny and many more. He has won numerous industry awards over the last twenty years, including three Eisner Awards for writing/drawing Batman Adventures and was “Nominated for four Joe Shuster Awards winning one for best Canadian Comic Writer”.
